On 28th May 2022, we were joined by the Women Leader and Councillor of Giza Giza Community Mrs. Kassima Sharon and the rest of the local area leaders to celebrate the Menstrual Hygiene Day. “Menstrual Periods should be treated normal and stigmatization of girls and women needs to stop.” Mrs. Kassima Sharon. She called upon men in the community to play their role in supporting girls and women during their menstrual periods. She advised the girls and women to dispose off used sanitary pads in a safe and hygienic manner that protects the people and the environment. We have about 30 men and 20 women and about 10 girls. The community had a successful dialogue with the team as well as a skilling session.
